A little over a week ago I posted a sneak peek to a remix that Andy Hunter was working on, and now it’s finished and available for purchase!
Andy Hunter has remixed Per Lichtman’s Escalation which features Katlin Rivers on the vocals.
His remix is a club stomper, very groovy with a bit of an edge to it. It starts off rather simple, but really blows up as you get deeper into the track.
The other mixes by Per Lichtman are still Electronic, but much less dance floor oriented and have a more orchestral sort of vibe. They’re still good music, they’re just not for the dancefloor. The Instrumental is obviously the original music bed without vocals, and the Gray Day in LA mix is a chilled version of this.
The Vocal Mix is where Katlin Rivers enters the picture, and her vocals really compliment the music well, causing me to hear parts I had missed before. The bonus track, Are You Gonna Win also features Katlin on the vox, and has a real synthpop vibe to it. I think fans of Paradoxx, Aleixa, and a lot of the Flaming Fish styled stuff would really like it.
